The River
The River of Life Church first met and grew as a home group until September 2000, they then started holding Sunday Services at 7 Oaks Reception Center.
In March of 2006, the church moved into a 5000 square foot facility. During the summer of 2008, part of the building was remodeled to allow for growth. During the summer of 2009 addition space was remodeled for class rooms and a larger worship facility.
The River of Life Church is a ministry of healing and restoration of relationships between families and cultures. The River has had outreaches to the Native Americans in Utah and surrounding states, and has supported missionaries and other ministries.
Life in the River could be described as “a place where you can be who you are.” It is also a place where you can become “a better you.” If laughter is a good medicine, then you will understand why during the Sunday service Pastor Anton’s illustrations and preaching style help to make the medicine go down. The reason for this is that Pastor Anton always wanted to be a cartoonist and has a way of seeing humor in almost everything.
